I play in headphones.
I tryed default patches, and I don't like them a lot.
I don't know how to create a sound. I imagine to start from the AMP simulator, and then put other effect in chain. But for distortion .... should I use a dist/overdrive/fuzz and let the gain (in amp simulator ) to 0 or increase the gain of amp?

I would recreate some sounds to play with:
- CLEAN SOUND similar to hendrix (t6he wind cries Mary) and I got it (fuzz face, echo and fender FD vibro)
When I tryed to get these I got problems ....

- FUZZ / Distorted sound similar to Hendrix distorted (don't know how to get it)

- SATRIANI SOUND (I used a patch for G3 but ...... sounds bad)

Unfortunately I have very few time I would use to play, but I have to get good sounds before..... My dream?
Have 4 or 5 sounds (Clean, crunch for rhythm, lead, and few others) and then play!!!!!!

IMHO G1Xon isn't in the list http://guitarpatches.com because it's not possible to import/export patches to PC. You can do it only manually.
About good sound settings wait for user torst, he's maybe the most experienced user of G1on here.
You can listen to his cover of Hendrix (second half of record) - everything created in G1on (bass, guitar, hammond, drums). But I don't know, if he will communicate in english. What about the italian forum, i've posted you? Aren't you from Italy?

You must instaled ZOOM Edit&Share software and in this editor open or import me patches (files .g3p, .g5p etc.)
Only looking to monitor and with fingers editing you G1xon. Yes? (G1xon not have USB port for editing.)
important is the correct order effects : Comp - Dist - Ampsimulator - Modulations - Delay - Verb.
important is the another amplifier or monitor. To Headphones, hi-fi, PC with Speaker cab simulator, to guitar power amp without Cab sim.
To instrument input guitar amp only dist or overdrive, without amps and speakers simulators ... etc. okay?

Did you try these sounds? I already used Edit and Share with G3 or G5 patches but the G1xon has some limitation in effect chain, and some effect are different.
I only use headphones (so my wife doesn't get crazy)

I try some sound, but for me is 95% sounds other peoples not good. I make self sounds and in realtime compare with track original (pre)amplifiers or full songs.

I turn knobs amp simps + - to mids values, not extrem left or right, only TUBE 0 - 10 clock maximum. Second modul is Para EQ (better like Graph EQ) for fine tuning.

Torst, mentioned YT AC/DC preset is amazing, I can't stop playing! I've made only one change for my ears - use Air instead of Hall there. It add some stereo space, sounds good on headphones.

filo01: úžasné? Tak si k tomu pust origo Higway to Hell. Ten Angus zní daleko dřevěnějc, opravdověji. Zkoušel jsem to kdysi nasimulovat i s real preampama a bednou a mikrákem, i s impulsama. Nepodařilo se.

No jo, já jsem skromnější. Stačí mi, když to tam "je", nic nesyčí, žádné frekvence nepřekáží. Večer jsem zabil zkoušením různých pozapomenutých riffů od AC/DC a Airbourne a neměl jsem nejmenší potřebu něco měnit (korekce, eq), což se u mě tak často nestává. Neříkám, že by to ještě nešlo vylepšit, ale pro moje ucho je to OK.

mě se ten preset taky líbí, o to nic. Trochu jsem poladil ampsim, asi EQ, vše lehce, základ je dobrej. Zajímavej je ten sp. sim z FD comba. S Marshallem zní bezva. Ale podstatně jsem upravil reverb. Myslím, že v uvedeném nastavení je ho moc. Koukám na str. 8, že preset AC/DC ve zvucích nemám. Dodám.

Řečeno s Elkesarem, už je to oficiální : ZOOMem nahradím preamp v zesíku Engl, budu ho používat jen jako koncák a vše uvařim v G1on.
Tuto neděli jsem dal dohromady pár komparativních nahrávek, ze kterých mi vychází, že tube preamp JE NAHRADITELNEJ digitálem (!).
1. Track přes Engl E530, 2 impulsy do sterea, mastering.

Nastěhoval jsem si do pokojíčku box Randall RX412, tak jsem udělal ještě nahrávku přímo Shurkou SM57 od repra, bez impulsů. Tentokrát jen syrově, bez masteringu.

A pak přišla ta denní můra ! Řek jsem si, že když mám tu CZ JCM800 (EL34), nasimuluju jí pomocí modulu MS Crunch v G1on. Že to bude hračka, na 1. dobrou, tyhle lo gainy. A pak jsem s tím strávil celý odpoledne a nepodařilo se mi to, jak bych chtěl. To ten Engl se kopíruje snáz !
Nakonec jsme toho Marshalla jakž takž napodobil. Na digi mulťák je to zázrak a zlatý, ale oproti originálu tam prostě trošku schází takovýto "basový tělo".

Even if listened to another on with a more fantastic sound, very "fat"

Internal ZOOM cabinet simulator with Mid and Hi Gain amp simulator is not for me quality sound. Only for training.

Uuuf, tak jsem konečně zprovoznil ten expresion pedal switch. Nalepil jsem tam chemoprenem kousek gumy a funguje to excelentně! Samozřejmě před nalepením jsem postupně ubíral výšku gumové vložky, dokud jsem nebyl 100% spokojen s funkčností.
Samotná práce mě ani moc času nestála a šlo to dobře, ale ta tvorba instruktážního videa mě trochu zmohla .
